Police Seek Suspect in University Park Burglary

Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a man caught by a surveillance camera.

Prince George’s County police have released a photograph of a suspect in Tuesday’s burglary in University Park.

Officers responded to the 6500 block of 43rd Avenue on Tuesday after a report of a break-in. The victim told police several credit cards were stolen during the burlgary.

Detectives found that the cards had been used at several area retailers, including the Target in Greenbelt. Police were able to retrieve surveillance footage of the suspect, who is described as “a young African American male with a slim build and shoulder length dreadlocks.” A photo of the suspect is attached to this story.
