I enjoy writing about a variety of topics, including local events, local politics, schools, food, women's issues, and parenting. I'm a shameless bleeding-heart liberal, but I enjoy good political debate with anyone who's knowlegeable and respectful, no matter what their views.

I love living in Riverdale Park and try never to miss the Farmer's Market. Say "Hi!" if you see me there.  I love cooking and baking and I take great pride in preparing fresh, locally produced food for my family. 

I want to apologize to all my neighbors for the number of trucks/scooters/bikes in my yard. And for not raking my leaves. Or cutting my grass. I promise to make my husband take care of it this weekend.
