Robert Gandy, Neighbor

Robert Gandy is an award-winning artist and published writer in a variety of print and digital formats. With more than 15 years of experience in arts and events design, production and management, Bob has made a career of taking ideas and bringing them to life in 2- or 3-dimensions, on stage, in the kitchen, on the web and in any media imaginable.<br><br>Among his many accomplishments, he has offered his expertise on a panel about using the arts as an engine for sustainable economic development. Most recently, he was commissioned to paint a Paul Reed Smith guitar for the Johns Hopkins Cancer Research Center charity auction. On stage, his most recent production of <i>Genesis</i> by Evan Crump won Best Drama at the 2010 Capital Fringe Festival.<br><br>He earned his associate&#39;s degree in art from Alpena Community College in Alpena, Mich. He also studied theatre design at the University of Maryland, College Park and is currently taking communications classes online through University of Maryland, University College.
