Alex is a senior journalism major at the University of Maryland, College Park. Before coming to Patch.com, she interned for a summer at Northern Virginia Magazine and spent a semester intering at Moment Magazine. Alex is originally from New Jersey and plans to stay in the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia area after she graduates. Her post-graduation plans are to find a job in a journalistic or communications-related field.
