Wegmans Recalls Store Brand Flour

The flour was recalled because it may contain plastic balls.

Wegmans is recalling its store brand flour because some bags may contain small blue polyurethane balls. According Wegmans, the All-Purpose Bleached Flour may contain small blue plastic balls that are used to sift the flour. Wegmans said the balls are made of "food-grade material." The balls are not sharp and because of the size and color are easily recognizable in the flour, Wegmans said. The recalled product was sold between Dec. 24, 2012 and Feb. 15, 2013. All of the product may be returned for a full refund.
