Girl, missing since New Year's Day, last seen in Mount Rainier.
Prince George's County Police are investigating the disappearance of a 13-year-old girl from Mount Rainier. Police do not believe the girl was kidnapped, and said that she had a history of running away from home. The girl, named Citalli Yamileth Colon-Ventura, was last seen near her home in the 3300 block of Buchanan Street in Mount Rainier at approximately 2 p.m. on Jan. 1, 2013. The girl, described by police as Hispanic, stands about five feet tall, with brown eyes and black hair. She was wearing a brown shirt and blue pants. Police found remains of 11-year-old William McQuain, after his mother was found dead in their home Oct. 12.
Update, Oct. 18: Montgomery County Police believe they've found the remains of William McQuain, an 11-year-old Germantown boy, in Clarksburg, according to a prepared statement. Here are the details according to the statement: Police and volunteer forces located the body of a young, African-American male off of Clarksburg Road about a quarter mile west of Frederick Road at approximately 9:11 a.m. Tuesday. Police believe McQuain’s body has been in this location since Oct. 1, 2011. A surveillance video shows McQuain and his stepfather, Curtis Lopez, 45, entering and re-entering a storage unit during the morning of October 1.
