Why is it that for very important public announcements and/or documents of record, that people seem not to use spell check! That is just unacceptable! The blunder I'm referring to is what appeared on facebook, etc., pointing to the misspeling of the word "program," which was printed on 2012 diplomas issued by PG County. Public May View Cafritz Plans

Concerned residents are able to view the documents submitted to parks and planning.

At Monday night's discussion in University Park on the Cafritz property, several residents said they are still looking for more information. Now, the information is available for them to view. Andrea Davey, spokeswoman with Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission, said residents can look at the conceptual site plans for the Cafritz property, even though it's currently in a draft format and hasn't been formally submitted. "According to the staff, the plans are public information," Davey wrote in an e-mail. "They also said that this pre-acceptance period also presents an opportunity for interested citizens to contact the applicant and ask for meetings and presentations so they can understand the application." In order to view …

As of this morning, you can get only the justification for the Conceptual Site Plan (CSP) from Parks and Planning. The rest of the package is not yet available from them. Maybe Riverdale Town Hall has the whole thing (?). The justification has A LOT of information in it. But the package could very different when they submit an actual application. We'll have to keep informed.   more ›
