Last Chance: Color Maryland Green Contest

Young artists of Riverdale Park and University Park, break out those pens, pencils, paints, and cameras because Friday is your last chance to enter the 2013 Color Maryland Green Contest. The contest, sponsored by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR), “is designed to encourage children to take advantage of the abundant recreational opportunities and natural resources that Maryland has to offer,” according to a press release. The contest is open to children grades kindergarten though 12. All artwork should be original and feature the great outdoors of Maryland.
