Board of Licenses Approves Liquor Transfer Request for Rinaldi Lanes
Chairman says sworn-in officers should be a recommendation, not a requirement, for the establishment to continue with business.
A transfer request for a liquor license was approved for Rinaldi Lanes Tuesday, after the Board of Licenses chairman suggested a change in the language of the Property Use Agreement with Riverdale Park’s council. “To say that this request is so significant,” Chairman Franklin Jackson said, in regards to specifications for Maryland-sworn in officers, “We’d really have to have evidence that said this request or that using these federal officers is so unreasonable and provides such a commitment by Riverdale Park Police.” Rinaldi’s current security force includes some longtime employees and two federal officers.
