Established in 1896, Riverdale Presbyterian Church has been in the Riverdale Park community for well over a century. As the community of Riverdale Park grew from a small trolley-stop town to a large suburb of the DC metro area, the church grew along with it. For 41 years it was led by Pastor Keith Curtis, but over the years it has welcomed many new leaders, too, including current Interim Pastor Rev. Mary Pullen. Located within a residential neighborhood near University Park Elementary School, the church is a large part of the local community, providing Sunday school and Vacation Bible School for youth.
