University Park Resident Will Be Inducted Into Maryland Hall of Fame
Sallie Lou Holder will be inducted in the state's hall of fame for her volunteer service.
Imagine volunteering 1,000 hours a year.
Well for Sallie Lou Holder, it's something she's been actively doing since she moved to University Park in 1956.
She was a Girl Scout Leader, volunteered with the American Society for Training and Development, Smithsonian Resident Associate Program and for others as well.

Now, the state of Maryland will honor Holder for all of her service.
On Oct. 20, she will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in a ceremony in Glen Burnie.
