The Parkdale Panthers opened their season with an emphatic win over High Point two weeks ago. However, after being shut out last week at Wise, coach Rich Holzer knew it was time to go back to the drawing board.
Whatever happened in practice this week clearly had an impact on the Panthers (2-1), as they were able to defeat Duval (1-2) on Friday by a final score of 26-20.
Parkdale did the majority of their damage in the second quarter, a period which saw the Panthers find the end zone for 20 total points. Up by just a touchdown entering the fourth period, Parkdale was able to maintain its lead and pull out the victory.
