Tell Patch About Your Favorite Teacher

At 25, I can say for sure that some of the biggest influences on my life have been my teachers. I can still remember my kindergarten teacher, Ms. Martuza, telling me that my curiosity was a good thing and that there's no such thing as a dumb question — maybe that's why I became a journalist.

I remember my middle school English teacher Ms. Morgan, who helped develop my journalism skills in 8th grade, and my high school teachers — Mrs. Haas, Mr. Liu, Mr. Highfield, Mr. Geiger and Ms. Peterson, who continued to help me learn and grow. Without them, who knows who I would have become today.

So, in honor of all the great teachers and because it's Teacher Appreciation Week this week, we wanted to hear from you.
