UPDATE: Prince George's County Schools Closed
The county first reported that schools were delayed.
Update, 7:23 a.m.: Prince George's County Public Schools is now reporting that schools are closed Tuesday. An alert from the school system went out after 7 a.m.
Central administrative offices are on a two-hour delay. Twelve-month employees are expected to come to work, but a liberal leave policy is in effect for non-emergency personnel.
Original post, 5:45 a.m.: Prince George's County Public Schools will open on a two-hour delay Tuesday, due to the freezing rain overnight.

Administrative offices will open one hour late. Food Services will offer breakfast.
The following programs are canceled for Tuesday:

- Work-study transportation (Those students should NOT report to school.)
- Half-day Early Childhood Center or half-day special education programs
- All field trips
Next door in Montgomery County, Tuesday is a full snow day for students.
The University of Maryland will open at 10 a.m.
