PGCPS Superintendent To Hold Hearings on Budget

Prince George's County Public Schools Superintendent William Hite wants feedback on the school systems budget plans.

County Schools Superintendent William Hite will host two public hearings in October to get feedback about the budget for fiscal year 2013.

Open to students, parents and community members, the hearings are the first step in the Prince George's County schools administration's process to review the budget.

Hite is set to present his budget proposal to the school board in December.

The hearings will be held on Oct. 19 and Oct. 25 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Sasscer Administration Building in Upper Marlboro.
