VIDEO: Weekend Commuters Discuss Metro Fare Increase
Commuters will pay 20 cents more during peak-of-the-peak hours in the evening.
Although the metro fare increase won't take effect until Monday during the afternoon rush hour, some weekend commuters at Prince George's Plaza discussed their thoughts on the new increase.The 20-cent increase comes as a part of the second phase of Metro fare increases implemented this year. It will affect those who are travelling out of the city from 4:30 pm to 6 pm.
