University Park Lights Its Tree Dec. 1

There will also be a potluck dinner at Riverdale Presbyterian Church.

The season is here and University Park is getting ready to light the town tree.

University Park will light its holiday tree Dec. 1, beginning at 7 p.m. The tree is on Henson Green, near the intersection of Sheridan Street, 40th Avenue, and Queens Chapel Road.

There will be seasonal songs from a variety of culturals from the concert choir at the University Park Elementary School and Mayor John Tabori will light the tree, assisted by young University Park resident Philip Bourque.
