The main sewer line will take a week to replace on each street and then the next week will be used to replace sewer-house connections.

Residents on Van Buren Street should expect to see WSSC working on their street first, followed by residents on Pineway, Clagett Road, 44th Avenue and Wells Parkway.

Residents at these homes will be affected:

  • 4313 to 4321 on Van Buren Street, both sewer mains and home connections
  • 6802 to 6810 Pineway, both sewer mains and home connections
  • 4329 through 4337 Clagett Road, both sewer mains and home connections
  • 6723 and 6725 on 44th Avenue, both sewer mains and home connections
  • 6808 to 6812 on Wells Parkway, house connections only

The sewer-home connections are also expected to be replaced at 4301, 4303, 4322, and 4324 Underwood St. and 6717 44th Ave., yet it is under another contract.

Work will also continue on the 4100 block of Tennyson Road, although it is in its final stages. Beall said the prep work will begin Wednesday, and the contractor will return to seal the lines. However, he said, the work does not require excavation and residents on Tennyson Road should not have any disruptions in their service.
