Riverdale Park Looks at Two Expansion Plans for Town Hall

One option includes the addition of a second story on the building.

The Riverdale Park council is taking two expansion options into consideration for town hall, according to a report in the Gazette.

The first expansion would add about 2,240 square feet for a larger lobby and bigger assembly space. This would allow residents to hold events, according to the Gazette report.

The current town hall is about 5,800 square feet and houses council chambers, a small lobby, a conference room and five offices.

The second expansion would add 6,869 square feet and add a second story to the building as well as a larger assembly space, larger lobby, two classrooms and a gallery space, according to the Gazette story.
