Riverdale Park Council Will Meet Tuesday Night

Council agenda holds items concerning development, Kenilworth Avenue and speed cameras.

Riverdale Park's Mayor and Council will meet tonight, Sept. 7,  for its regular legislative meeting in town hall.

On the agenda, is an item concerning a development known as the Riverdale Park Project, proposed to be built off 47th Avenue. The development is only in its planning stages and at the council work session MNCPPC discussed with council how it would present the project at the county's planning meeting. Two sketches of the property were discussed - one with a larger round-a-bout and the other with a "t-shaped" dead end.

Council will also discuss a grant that would fund lighting and facade changes along Kenilworth Avenue. According to Town Administrator Sara Imhulse, the grant would total $150,000.
