Prince George's 'punts' to Annapolis on Slots
Decision allows non-county residents to make gambling decision, says editorial.
The most likely outcome of Wednesday's decision by the Prince George’s County Council against slots bill CB-49 will be to allow Maryland voters to make the decision, according to a Washington Post Editorial Board opinion.
The Council urged the state legislature to authorize to authorize a state-wide referendum, which would put the gambling measure on next fall's ballot.
