MTA Hosts Purple Line Open Houses in November

The Maryland Transit Administration will host these sessions for residents to get more information and give feedback.

The Maryland Transit Administration will host four open houses about the proposed project starting Nov. 1.

Two will be in Prince George's County — one on Nov. 1 in the Prince George's Room at the University of Maryland's STAMP student union and the second on Nov. 10 at

The other two will be held in Chevy Chase and Silver Spring.

Residents who attend can learn about the:

  • Benefits of the Purple Line Project
  • Status of the project
  • Light rail systems and stations
  • What is next for the project

All meetings are from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
