Meeting Preview: University Park to Host Public Hearing on Council Pay, Election Changes in Charter
Mayor and council will meet Monday night for a public hearing, followed by a council meeting.
University Park's mayor and council will meet Monday night, for their second legislative meeting in the month of October.
However, before their meeting the Policy, Rules & Municipal Structure Committee will host its first public hearing for residents to voice opinions about the proposed changes to the town's charter, in regards to council pay and election structure.
The council meeting to follow will consist of a presentation from the Cafritz developers, a number of permits and staff reports.

The public hearing will begin at 6 p.m. in the media center of . The council meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.
There will be two more public hearings scheduled on the same proposed charter amendments on Nov. 7 and Nov. 21.
