Mayor, Councilman Propose Giving Money to Riverdale Fire Department for Ambulance
Riverdale Park Mayor Vernon Archer and Councilman David Lingua announced their intentions at the Riverdale Arts Fest Sunday
Mayor Vernon Archer, along with Councilman David Lingua (Riverdale Ward 3) announced at Riverdale Arts Fest that he will proposed that the town contribute $40,000 towards an ambulance for the Riverdale Fire Department.
The money will not add any additional cost to residents, but instead will come from a surplus in the 2011 budget.

The proposal must still go into front of the town's council for a vote.
Archer did not say when this would appear on an agenda.
