Health Fair to Enroll Residents in Insurance Coverage Set for March 15

An event to enroll uninsured Maryland residents in quality, affordable health coverage will be held March 15 in Prince George's County.

HealthConnectNow!, a local health fair to enroll uninsured Maryland residents in quality, affordable health coverage before this month’s deadline, will be held Saturday, March 15, in Prince George’s County. 

The event will take place at the Southern Regional Technology and Recreation Complex located at 7007 Bock Road in Fort Washington. The event should increase enrollment in all forms of health insurance while offering residents’ health screening and access to services that will improve health and wellness. 

The enrollment portion of the event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., while the health fair will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Those enrolling in health coverage should bring Social Security numbers, employer and income information for everyone in their household, policy numbers for any current health insurance, and information about any job-related insurance available to anyone in the family.

Representatives from Prince George’s County Department of Social Services, Prince George’s County Health Department, Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission, and Maryland Health Connection Connector Entity will all be on hand.
