Green Line Delays This Weekend

Track maintenance on southern end of green line will cause delays for commuters.

Prepare for the quick trip to Washington D.C. or to the southern part of Prince George's County to take a bit longer this weekend, as the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority will be welding new rails to tracks this weekend.

WMATA is telling commuters to add 20 more minutes to normal travel times this weekend as the Green line trains will share one track between Southern Avenue and Naylor Road stations until closing on Sunday.

The maintenance may delay all Green line trains.
