Elections: Primary Voting Starts Tuesday Morning

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

With the state spending millions of dollars on early voting according to the Baltimore Sun, Prince George's County had just under three percent of eligible voters turned out for early voting last week.

According to the state board of elections, 14,541 voters cast their ballot early this year, out of the 498,718 eligible voters in the county.  The most voters came out to the Bowie Library – 4,350 people and the least came out at the College Park Community Center – 1,635 people.

According to Donna Duncan with the board of elections Montgomery County had the most voter turnout in the state followed by Prince George's County.
