University Park Police Report Break-in on Beechwood Rd.

According to the police, the suspects took electronics, coins and a backpack.

University Park Police are continuing to investigate an break-in that occurred on Monday, May 15 between 1:45 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. in the 3900 block of Beechwood Road.

According to Chief Michael Wynnyk, a rear basement window was found unlocked and there was no sign of forced entry. A notebook computer, Sony camera, portable DVD player, bag of coins and a backpack were stolen.

The University Park Police Department canvassed the area for witnesses and processed the scene for fingerprints. UPPD is requesting anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-8477, text "PGPD plus your tip" to CRIMES (274637) on your cell phone or submit information online at http://www.princegeorgescountymd.gov/police/.
