University Park Crime: Breaking and Entering on 41st Avenue

The incident occurred early Tuesday morning, police said.

Police are investigating an early morning break-in in the 6500 block of 41st Avenue in University Park.

At 2:20 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to a residential alarm call and discovered a back kitchen door open and a basement door broken, according to an alert issued by University Park Police Chief Michael Wynnyk.

Officers checked the home and determined that no one was inside and that the residents of the home were out of the area at the time of the break-in. Because no residents were home, police could not determine what, if anything, had been taken from the home.
