Update: Police Investigate Stabbing Death of Riverdale Woman

Update, Aug. 25, 10:45 p.m.: Police found a woman suffering from a stab wound at 8:30 p.m. Friday in the 5600 block of Kennedy Street in Riverdale, MD, according to Prince George's County police. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police were in search of a suspect and motive in the case.

Original Post, Aug. 25, 4:50 p.m.: Prince George's police are investigating the stabbing and death of a woman in the 5600 block of Kennedy Street in Riverdale, MD, according to Prince George's County Police Pfc. Iris Acosta.

Officers responded to the scene Friday at about 8:30 p.m. and found the woman inside with trauma to her body, Acosta said. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Acosta. There was no sign of forced entry.
