Police Blotter: University Park Police Report Five Incidents in September

The crime statistics from University Park Police during September 2011.

University Park Police Chief Michael Wynnyk reported five incidents of crime during the month of September.

Here's what was in the department's report:

Ward 1:

Theft from Auto- On Sept. 16 or Sept. 17, a suspect broke into the rear  window of a car and stole a bike rack on the 4300 block of Sheridan Street.

Ward 3:

Theft from Auto- On Sept. 10, a suspect broke the rear window of a car on the 6700 block of Queens Chapel Road and stole a GPS power cord and a roadside kit.

Ward 4:

Theft from Auto- On Sept.12, in the 4200 block of Van Buren Street, a suspect entered a car and stole a JVC car radio. 

Ward 7:

Theft from Auto- On Sept. 26, a suspect entered an unlocked car and stole coins from the console area of the vehicle on 4100 block of Woodberry Street. Two suspects were located and arrested on Wells Parkway.

Theft from Auto- On Sept. 26 in the 4200 block of Woodberry Street, a suspect entered an unlocked car and stole coins from the console area of the vehicle. Two suspects were located and arrested on Wells Parkway.
