PGPD Officers to 'Run the Beat' Monday in Riverdale
The event is part of Prince George's County's Transforming Neighborhoods Initiative.

In support of the county-wide Transforming Neighborhoods Initiative, the Prince George’s County Police Department will be “running the beat” in Riverdale Monday morning.
PGPD officers and other officials will participate in a two-and-a-half mile run starting from the parking lot of Riverdale Plaza (5603 Kenilworth Ave.). The purpose of the event is to engage the community and be a visible presence in the neighborhood.

Monday will mark the second of six runs through focus areas targeted by the initiative, which include Langley Park, East Riverdale/Bladensburg, Suitland/Coral Hills, Kentland/Palmer Park, Hillcrest Heights/Marlow Heights, and Glassmanor.
Members of the community are encouraged to attend and participate.
