One Injured in Four-Car Accident on B-W Parkway

One person was injured Monday morning in an accident on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway in Prince George's County just south of Riverdale.

 

U.S. Park Police responded to the scene of an accident on the southbound side of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway during Monday morning's rush hour.

Around 6:30 a.m., four cars collided on the parkway just south of the Route 410 exit in Riverdale, U.S. Park Police Spokesman Sgt. Paul Brooks said.

WTOP tweeted that the left lane was blocked while tow trucks, police and EMS arrived on scene.

Brooks said only one person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
