Man Killed in University Blvd. Hit and Run

Officers found the victim around 9 p.m. Saturday.

A Hyattsville man is the victim of a fatal hit and run, according to Prince George's County Police.

On Saturday, patrol officers in Lewisdale found an unresponsive male around 9 p.m. in the 2400 block of University Boulevard.

Samuel Diaz, 28, was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.

The striking vehicle has been described as a silver SUV with front end damage. Police said there were no crosswalks at the location.
