Get Help With Installing a Child Safety Seat
Local fire and police departments offer help with installing a baby or child safety seat.
If you're about to be a first-time parent and the instructions for the new car seat you bought look harder than the picture-by-picture directions for IKEA furniture, have no fear, help is available.
On Wednesday, nationally certified child passenger safety seat technicians will be on hand at the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department (at 7411 Cherry Lane) to help you put that car seat in your car the right way.
They'll be available from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and no appointment is needed.
