Final Summer Crime Forum to Focus on Bullying, Gangs

University Park Police will host its final forum in a summer series on crime.

In the spirit of back-to-school, will talk about bullying, school safety and gangs as its final topics for the summer crime series.

Police Chief Michael Wynnyk said parents should attend this discussion with their children and or teens, or even send teenage children on their own if they are unable to attend.

Cpl. Mike Rudinski, of Hyattsville City Police, will be the guest speaker. Rudinski has spoken in the past on this topic in his post as the school resource officer at and as a "gang culture" expert.
