Early Morning Garage Fire in Riverdale Park

Riverdale Park firefighters reported to a garage fire on Queensbury Road Tuesday morning.

The spent the morning fighting a garage fire on the 5000 block of Queensbury Road, not far from their station.

Fire Chief Charles Ryan said the garage was a complete loss, although no injuries were reported.

Ryan added that the fire caused $20,000 in damages and it remains under investigation.
