Crime Forum Scheduled for Monday in University Park

The first in a series of forums on crime will start Monday evening.

If you're a new resident in University Park or you want know how to protect your home and property, the summer crimes forum series will have all the answers you need.

Police Chief Michael Wynnyk is hosting another series of forums, after hosting a similar series last summer.

On Monday at 6:30 p.m. the first forum will begin. Detective Justin Bracket of the Prince George's County Police Department, a computer forensic expert, will be the guest speaker.

The discussion will include computer fraud, exploitations, social networking, Internet safety and computer forensic investigation.

The forum allows for residents to take proactive measures to prevent crime.
