Bladensburg Pedestrian Killed in Accident

Speed and alcohol were not a factor, police said.

A Bladensburg woman was killed in a pedestrian collision Nov. 12 in the 3800 block of Kenilworth Ave., according to Prince George's County Police.

Around 7:30 p.m. police found 46 year-old Mary Katherine Harding suffering from life threatening injuries. She was rushed to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead, police said.

Harding attempted to cross Kenilworth Avenue when she was struck by two vehicles, a gold Chrysler 300M and a white Nissan Altima. She was not in a crosswalk and both drivers remained on the scene, police said.

Alcohol and speed were not a factor on the part of the drivers, according to police.
