Former Riverdale Resident Dies at 89
Hubertina Linsalata died in her Reva, VA home on Oct. 2.
A former Riverdale Park resident passed away on Oct. 2 in her Reva, VA home, Clore-English Funeral Home reported. She was 89.
Known to many friends and family as "Oma," Hubertina "Tieny" Linsalata was a resident of the DC Metro area since the 1950s. Born in Holland, Linsalata met and married her husband in 1946 in the Netherlands and moved to Virginia to settle down.

They moved to Riverdale, MD when she worked as a manager at Civil Service Commission Credit Union.
Linsalata was laid to rest on Oct. 5 in Berryville, VA.

Her family asked that contributions be made to Hospice of the Rapidan, P.O. Box 1715, Culpeper, VA, 22701 or the American Macular Degeneration Foundation, P.O. Box 515, Northampton, MA 01061-0515.
