Introducing Laurie Baty
What is it like to being a small, sole proprietor business? Laurie Baty is doing just that and will blog about it!
I have more than 20 years of museum and archival experience and am a published photographic historian. Most recently, I served as the senior museum professional on the planning for the National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington, DC.
I began designing beaded jewelry as a hobby about two years ago out of my home in University Park as a stress reliever. I am working on making this hobby into a business. In addition to jewelry, my hobbies include cooking, sailing, skiing, and curling.
