University Park Historic Preservation Association meeting

UPHPA is pleased to announce that author, historian and
preservationist Andra Damron will present November's program this
Thursday evening at Riverdale Presbyterian Church in UP.  Ms. Damron wrote "Hyattsville (Images of America: Maryland)", published in 2008 by Arcadia.   Ms. Damron will share highlights and photographs from her book and discuss the value of the project to the Hyattsville community.  Copies of the book will also be available for sale and signing at the program.

A past officer of the Hyattsville Preservation Association, Ms. Damron
was instrumental in developing that group's digital photograph and
oral history preservation program.  Please plan to help UPHPA welcome Andra Damron on November 18, from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. in Custis Hall of Riverdale Presbyterian Church at 6513 Queen's Chapel Road.  For more information, phone Chris Garcia at 301 699 9124.
