Whiz Kids: Henson Academy of the Arts

Name Students in Jim Henson's Academy of the Arts School Northwestern High School Accomplishment The choir won an area-wide singing competition with the AME Reid Temple, while students in the art, drama, band and television production programs continue to pursue their dreams in the arts and compete for various scholarships and awards. Key to Awesomeness These students balance school work (many are on honor roll), other activities and continue to practice their arts. Some have committed four-years to the program and move onto careers in which they continue to perform or teach arts.
