Town Councils Meet Monday Night
Both Riverdale Park and University Park's town councils will meet tonight, separately, to discuss their legislative agenda.
University Park's mayor and council will meet for their regular legislative session tonight at 7:30 p.m. at University Park Elementary School.
Council is set to discuss two construction applications, the Landy project, a police department update and a traffic count for wards two and six.
Riverdale Park's mayor and council will also meet for their regular legislative session at 8 p.m. at town hall.

The only agenda items on the meeting tonight are the approval of previous meetings' minutes and one resolution to reinstate state funds to the town for highways and police protection.
Prior to their meeting however, the town is hosting a reception for the teachers from Guatemala who are visiting Riverdale Park as a part of a teachers' exchange with the town's sister city, Ipala.
