Morning storm leads to some midday flooding.
An early morning rain storm drenched town roads, added to the frustration of commuters.
Wells Run was overflowing with muddy water today in University Park, and the Northeast Branch of the creek could be seen swelling from Riverdale Road in Riverdale Park.
The muddy color of the water was due to construction runoff from the University Town Center in Hyattsville.
