Pickles, Greens and More at the Riverdale Park Farmers Market

The market is open every Thursday from 3 p.m to 7 p.m. at the Riverdale Park Town Center.

Pickle lovers, rejoice!

No. 1 Sons is coming back for round two at the Riverdale Park farmers market. The list of mouth-puckering delights includes kicky kosher, district dill, half sour, garlic super sour pickles, kim chi, katie chi, krauts and salsas. 

Blades Orchard is also rumored to make its spring market debut Thursday, but no details on what they'll be selling. You'll have to go check for yourself!

Also at this Thursday's market:

  • Musachio Produce will have strawberries, asparagus, greens and flowering plants
  • ECO City Farms will have a variety of greens, including baby kale, green lettuce, red lettuce, baby arugula and more
  • Groff's Content Farm will be offering free range chicken, eggs, artisan cheeses, grass fed beef and more
  • Jack Creek Plants will offer several different plant and herb starters for local gardener
  • Stone Hearth Bakery will have its usual artisan breads and sweet treats
  • Zeke's Coffee will have coffee by the pound and by the cup

Hot, fresh food will also be offered by Reuben's Crepes, The Verandah, Geppetto Catering and Shells Yes! Crab Cake Company. Dessert is on the menu too with the handmade ice cream and sorbets of Simple Pleasures Ice Cafe.

Mystic Water Soap will also be at the market be selling its sweet smelling soaps and other goods.

If all that delicious food is not enough to get you to the market today, Riverdale Park’s own Mary Wheatley will kick of Thursday's musical performance on her acoustic guitar, followed by jazz/blues/country vocalist Marianna Previti.
