Franklin's Fundraiser Monday Raises Money for Anacostia Watershed Society
Buying lunch, dinner, drinks or shopping at Franklin's Brewery.
Today you can support the Anacostia Watershed Society by eating a meal or grabbing drinks at Franklin's Brewery.
From 11 a.m. until close, a portion of whatever you purchase in the restaurant or store will benefit AWS, when you take your receipt to the register.
Franklin's will donate 20 percent of those checks back to the non-profit known for its work restoring the Anacostia Watershed, which includes Wells Run and the Northeast branch of the Anacostia River that runs through Riverdale Park and University Park.
