Flurries in the Forecast

The National Weather Service is calling for flakes across the area Monday afternoon and evening.

Though we're not likely to be knee-deep in powder anytime soon, forecasters are calling for a few flakes across the area Monday afternoon and early evening.

The National Weather Service expects occasional flurries across Riverdale Park and University Park through about 7 p.m., with winds averaging 15 mph from the west.

Temperatures are then projected to drop into the 20s overnight with partly cloudy skies. Tuesday looks to be a breezy one, with sustained winds between 14 and 21 mph and gusts of up to 31 mph forecast.
