Five Ways to Spend The Last Days of Summer
Summer isn't technically over, but with school starting Monday, it is for county public schools' students.
Before the first bell rings marking the beginning of another school year, get out and spend your last day of summer doing what you love.
But if you need suggestions, here's five.

3. Picnic in the Park
Grab a blanket, your favorite snacks and maybe some bug spray and head over to a local park or the for a picnic. Bring a ball or some other sporting equipment and team up with friends and/or family for a great game.
4. Canoeing, Kayaking and more water sports
Head over to the Bladensburg Waterfront and spend the day out on the water.
5. Grill and Family Movie Night
It may be the day before school starts, but it doesn't mean you can't spend some time with the kids before they get busy, too. So and rent a $1 movie from your local Redbox. It's the best because you don't have to go anywhere.
