Enter Patch's Dessert Bake-Off
If you've got a great recipe, you could win a $50 gift card at Saturday's Riverdale Park Holiday Market and Festival of Lights.
Do you have the best brownie recipe? What about the best pie? Or can you make anyone like peppermint?
Patch is sponsoring a bake-off this Saturday, Dec. 10 at the Riverdale Park . Anyone can enter the event and compete for the "crowd favorite" dessert or the "editor's pick" dessert.
Contestants should submit their already-baked treats by 1 p.m. Look for the Patch table and drop off the dessert there. Entries should be baked in two 9" by 13" baking dishes.

The sweets will be cut into bite-sized pieces for market shoppers to taste. Shoppers will vote for one winner, and another winner will be picked by Patch editors.
The crowd pleaser will win a $50 gift card to a local restaurant, while the editor's favorite will get a $25 Starbucks card. The winners — and their recipes, if they're willing to share — will be featured on Patch later this holiday season.

Winners must be present when the picks are announced at 4 p.m. in order to claim their prizes.
